Introducing Revolv, the latest home automation system that will sync your home's appliances and allow you to control them via your smartphone. What makes this system stand out from the rest is that it not only links up your whole house, it works in unison with your existing automated systems.



Here's how it works: For $299, you get a Wi-Fi hub and access to Revolv's cloud service. No ethernet cable link up needed, just take the hub home, plug it into an outlet and it will automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network to scan for the wireless gadgets you've already installed in your home.

From there, all your entertainment system, wireless lighting, automated locks, and thermostat all accessible and controllable via your iPhone or iPad.  You can use it to automate daily routines like turning on the coffee machine in the morning, programming relaxing music to play before you step through the door, or pre-heating the oven to get an early start on dinner.
