The TomTom Runner GPS watch came out last year, and it didn't have a heart rate monitor. Now it totally does. There's a new Cardio version that includes an integrated heart-rate monitor.

The TomTom Runner Cardio and Multi-Sport Cardio GPS watches both include a heart rate monitor built into the strap that uses an optical sensor. It shines light through the skin to detect the changes in blood flow. This is great because, now athletes don't have to wear a chest strap to monitor their heart-rate.

The Cardio watches use QuickGPSFix to track a wearer's speeds and distance, and it is waterproof and will be available for $270. The Multi-Sport version will go for $300. Check it out here: [TomTom via Ubergizmo]
