The next evolution in sports entertainment is here: cameras in soccer balls. It will be used in the World Cup in Brazil, and the balls are created by Adidas. Called the Brazucam, it is arguably the most high-tech soccer ball ever made.

The custom ball is equipped with six high definition cameras from GoPro, which will be used to record the game from new angles. We can expect views of the ball flying in the air before it gets kicked by another player or when the ball comes right into the goal. Watching soccer is going to be a tad bit dizzy in June.

The footage would also greatly benefit from 3D, and who doesn't want to watch sports in 3D?

Adidas plans to release a new video on its YouTube channel every week as the ball travels around the world and ends up at the World Cup in Brazil.
