Microsoft has finally settled on a final decision to sell the Xbox One WITH the Kinect. Microsoft corporate vice president Phil Harrison explained that they are fundamentally two parts of a single entity:
Xbox One is Kinect. They are not separate systems. An Xbox One has chips, it has memory, it has Blu-ray, it has Kinect, it has a controller. These are all part of the platform ecosystem.
The company initially claimed every Xbox One would not just ship with a Kinect but would have to be plugged in for the machine to run. They later they said that the second part wouldn't be the case any longer, and now, they've made their final decision. Flippant aren't they?
