The age of humans with bionic parts are here. Segway inventor Dean Kamen and his company DEKA have invented a mind-controlled prosthetic arm that will let the user operate fine tasks from operating a zipper to wrapping a present.

Dubbed the DEKA-Arm, it is the same size and weight as a natural human arm. Nicknamed "Luke" after Luky Skywalker, it detects electrical activity caused by the contraction of muscles close to where the prosthesis is attached and sends electrical signals to a computer processor in the prosthesis that translates them to movements.
