This dress solves one problem and reminds us of another every time we tweet. First: put your phones down during dinner, or any social event. Being in the moment means not Facebooking or Tweeting the experience. Second: we are all naked on the Internet - referring to how freely we allow our information to flow through Internet channels.

The dress, X.Pose, is part of Xuedi Chen and Pedro Oliveira's Interactive Telecommunications thesis at NYU and is made of 3-D printed mesh and reactive displays. It connects to your smartphone and becomes transparent when more information in the form of tweets or Facebook posts get made.

The idea behind it isn't sexual, but rather a reminder of how vulnerable we all are online.
