For someone who needs visual aid, wearing another pair of glasses over my existing ones just seems like the dumbest idea in the world. And it also makes me the dumbest looking one in the room. I've got no choice, because if I remove my real glasses, I wouldn't be able to see anything at all. So when news like how a team built a 3D display that doesn't require glasses reached my desk, I was impressed!

The folks over at USC's Institute for Creative Technologies created an automultiscopic 3D display .

Here's how they did it:
