Comedian Nicole Arbour uploaded a "satirical" video on YouTube titled 'Dear Fat People.' Its title alone was enough to get people riled up about it. It has been viewed 17 million times on Facebook and half a million times on YouTube.

She said of it:

"This was only an issue because this particular group wants to be immune to satire, while laughing at everyone else. We all need to relax, laugh at everyone, and learn to turn off something we don't like, not try and wipe its existence. "

Here's YouTuber Grace Helbig's powerful response:

What do you think? A lot of people have come down on Arbour for her views on obesity, and she's got people who support her.

YouTuber skagg 3 posted a video on Sunday backing the comedian. He makes this point in the video: “We can’t joke about obesity, but presumably we can joke about AIDS, cancer, drug addiction, alcoholism — the list of things we joke about daily is endless.”

People on Facebook are agreeing with her too.
