Music does wonders for humans. It's proven to help with productivity, focus, and even diets. On top of all that, it can relax you, make you feel good, and keep you company when you're lonely. But it turns out that animals, too, like music.

Scientists say animals like it for the same reasons we do, because it feels right. Trace Dominguez of DNews poses the question "Do Animals Enjoy Music?" in a recent YouTube video.
A study done in 2001 on English cows found that when cows were played songs while being milked, the speed of the music affected how much milk was being produced. Specifically, the cows liked slow jams. Fast songs at over 120 beats per second (bps) caused milk production to drop. But slow songs that were under 100 bps increased production by 3% per day.
