Beyonce took to Time magazine to premiere the music video for her track "Pretty Hurts". In the video, she questions the definition of pretty by playing the role of a contestant in a beauty pageant. There's also the unpleasant side of the superficial contest.

The video is part of Bey’s #WhatIsPretty project, inviting viewers to participate in conversations via social media on what beauty means to them.
