The air pollution index is so incredibly high right now in Beijing, it's very dangerous to be out for long periods of time. So this bizarre story is about rich people in China buying bottles of clean air from Canada. Makes perfect sense.

A Canadian startup is getting into some serious business by selling them clean air. Called Vitality Air, they only began selling their bottled air in China less than two months ago but have already shipped 500 bottles already in four days.

Founder Moses Lam says another 4,000 bottles are en route to China but most of it has already been purchased.

The bottles are cans containing either 3 or 7.7 liters of hand-collected, fresh Canadian air.

Air is taken from Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains and it sells for 100 yuan a bottle.

This almost feels like a dystopian setting for a movie. Is this the future?
