Katy Perry's new album Prism has been deemed a "biosecurity concern" in Australia. We always knew she was trouble!

To be specific, the album artwork is made of seedpaper. It comes with instructions to "spread the light" by planting it. According to authorities, they fear that this could introduce an invasive species of plants to the continent. And seeing how strict Australia is when it comes to their ecosystem, they're not having any of it.

Australian biosecurity officers are quarantining the international versions and evaluating their invasive potential.

Australia isn't being anal about it either. Invasive species are a big deal since they may cause all kinds of trouble from hundreds of millions of rabbits running the countryside to a new species entering the food chain. It can be quite destructive! [The Guardian]
