Some are calling this campaign offensive, while some are for this campaign. It almost seems at first sight that the artists involved in this project might be fat-shaming these models here. But there's more to this story. Read on:

1. A bunch of photoshop experts and artists got together to start a project where they take plus sized models and photoshop them into smaller models.

2. Artists sent the photoshopped images to the original models showing them their "thinner selves."

3. This sparked a controversy among different groups, both for and against the campaign.

4. Many people took this project as offensive, but the artists claim that it is to spotlight obesity being a serious threat to health.

5. They want to raise the awareness for people leading unhealthy lifestyles.

6. The artists say they aren't fat-shaming or making a mockery out of bigger women.

7. Instead, they want to show the difference between overweight and "healthy body types".

8. Is this the opposite of body positivity?

plusthin8.jpg

9. Should you accept and love your body no matter how large it becomes?

plusthin9.jpg

10. Does that mean you accept you can't and shouldn't change how you look?

11. The artists want to advocate that being obese, isn't healthy at all.

plusthin11.jpg

12. And it's not about being body positive.

plusthin12.jpg

13. Because being obese is definitely not body positive.

plusthin13..jpg

14. And being obese increases your risk of many health complications.

15. What do you think?

plusthin15.jpg

16. Are you for...

plusthin16.jpg

17. Or against this campaign?

plusthin17.jpg

18. Should we accept Lena Dunham-type arguments that your body is fine just the way it is?

plusthin18.jpg

19. And abuse the definition of curvy?

plusthin19.jpg

20. Or should we strive to a healthier state, no matter the size..?
