Beards are getting back in style and people who can grow them, have them now. They admittedly look pretty good. But there's one very dirty and disgusting finding about them: they may contain a lot of bacteria, comparable to toilets.

Your health could be at risk! An ABC station in New Mexico swabbed the beards of a few local men and microbiologists found that it contained a lot of bacteria comparable to toilets. It is the type of bacteria found in fecal matter (aka your shit.)

Shit in your beard. Literally. Omg.

To think that a beard is the equivalent of a toilet seems very disgusting. But all this is avoidable if you practice scrubbing your beard daily.

And don't touch it with your hands because your hands are just as dirty.
