So apparently this is happening, and it seemed like an eventuality either way. Last year, rumors of The Hunger Games franchise branching into the real world in the form of a theme park started surfacing. And now, it's real. It's officially happening.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Lionsgate will be partnering with Dubai Parks and Resorts to open this theme park in Dubai in October 2016.

They say it will have three parks: Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai:

The new Hollywood-themed park, Motiongate Dubai, is currently expected to include a Lionsgate zone that features Hunger Games-inspired attractions and retail facilities, as well as a DreamWorks Animation zone.
