Fans of the LOTR saga no doubt know that J.R. Tolkein's really put a lot of thought into creating Middle Earth as an amazing fictional world.

Since not all of us have the time to skim through his huge books, Google has decided create a map experiment that let's users to actually tour Middle Earth.



The map is peppered with with locations featured in The Hobbit, and each comes with a unique mini-game experience. And the only way to find out check it out for yourself.
