Would you take male birth control if it were available? Researchers are already working on that and they plan to make it ready by 2017. No more relying on pulling out, broken condoms and abstinence, we suppose?

According to researchers, trials are going well. They've tested it on baboons, and so far no female baboons have gotten pregnant.

The Parsemus Foundation explained how the nonsurgical gel, Vasalgel, will work on their website.

A gel is injected into the vas deferens (the tube the sperm swim through), rather than cutting the vas (as is done in vasectomy). If a man wishes to restore flow of sperm, whether after months or years, the polymer is flushed out of the vas with another injection.

Just one shot will prevent unplanned pregnancies. Still, it's safer to wear a condom as well since this won't help prevent STDs or HIV.

Would you take this?
