David Teie, a cellist for the National Symphony Orchestra likes cats. And likes science too. So he decided to put the two together and see if he could raise money to make music for cats. He turned to Kickstarter to fund his idea.

The Kickstarter surpassed its goal of $20,000 on Kickstarter, and raised over $220,000.
