We've been dreaming of Marty McFly's Nike powerlace shoes since we saw it in the movie. Then Nike had to go and tease us with one. And then they said they were going to release one in 2015. Turns out, they're not lying. They are going to release the shoe this year!

Shoe blog Nice Kicks say that Tinker Hatfield, a Nike designer, confirmed that they were working on the shoes.

He's got 11 more months to get the shoe ready so let's hope it'll be as cool and real as this:

Various versions of the shoes have been released of course but none of them have the powerlace technology.

Will Nike's shoe really have fully functional powerlaces?

And if so, just how expensive will they be?!
