Iris identification is a great form of security, but the gadgets that make it happen can be expensive or unwieldy, and not exactly convenient for personal use. Cue eyeLock's Myris, a cheap, simple, and beautiful gadget for iris ID-ing.



The eyeLock connects to your computer via USB port, and works on Chrome, Mac, and Windows systems. It takes a quick (about 1 second) video, then registers your passwords to your iris, after which you can log in to multiple sites: Facebook, email, and other accounts, and open them all by holding the device up to your eye. It's easy and intuitive.

There isn't a set release date or price yet, but the company estimates it'll be coming in the second half of this year and retail less than $300.
