Bored of being the only one around the water cooler not talking about Game of Thrones? Feel like you’re missing out on all this fuss about The Flash? If so, you need to catch up one some of the latest TV shows. Don’t worry if you haven’t the time to sift through what’s good and what’s not, however. 1. Game of Thrones

Of course we were going to kick off with the HBO series that everyone is talking about. It has blood, guts, gore, love and war. Oh, and dragons. Make sure you start from Series One if you haven’t seen any of them before. Otherwise you’ll miss out on some of the best TV shockers since ‘Who Shot JR?’. Too much blood and guts? There’s a kid-friendly version too.

2. Wayward Pines

If you like a bit of mystery and thriller, then this is the TV show for you. Wayward Pines follows a Secret Service Agent, who has been sent to investigate two missing Federal Agents. There are so many twists and turns in this show, you’ll be on the edge of your seat.

3. Peaky Blinders

This British Drama is one of the best we’ve seen in a very long time. It follows the Peaky Blinders in Birmingham, UK, during the early 1920s. Cillian Murphy plays the lead protagonist, although you’ll also recognize some of the other leading stars. Such as Tom Hardy in Series Two.

4. The Flash

Everyone has been talking about The Flash, and for good reason! Don’t worry if you missed out the first time round. If you sign up to one of the DISH Network Satellite TV packages, you should be able to catch up. This is superhero drama done right.

5. Orange is the New Black

Who hasn’t been talking about OITNB? Set in a prison, this Netflix original has been getting a lot of attention. It has true grit, crime and comedy all rolled into one. Not to mention sterling performances from some of the best female actresses in America.

6. The Walking Dead

The last series may have just finished, but that doesn’t mean you can’t play catch up. Follow Rick Grimes and his band of merry men as they take on Zombies in Georgia. This is one TV series you won’t be able to stop watching.

7. American Horror Story

Another TV show which may have just rounded up for this series, but is definitely worth a watch. Each series is technically a standalone show, so you don’t need to watch them in order. However, you get more of a feel for the different actors if you do. The next series, due in October, will also feature Lady Gaga.

8. Aquarius

Another crime drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This story follows a cop who goes undercover in the 1960s, to keep tabs on Charles Manson. If you’ve ever been fascinated by the Manson family, then this is one to watch.
