Ah the Brits, with their dry humor and witty mannerisms. And who better to demonstrate all this than British comedian Russell Brand?

Apparently, when he's not busy bedding celebrities and starring in movies, Brand likes to write. His essays have covered everything from the fears of relapse to the death of Margaret Thatcher, earning him a lot of plaudits.

His latest role is serving as the guest editor for this week's issue of the New Statesman, one of the most popular and historically important weekly magazines in the U.K.

To promote it, Brand went on BBC Newsnight to talk with Jeremy Paxman, a journalist known for his incredibly combative style of interviewing. You can watch them retorting each other in the interview below:
