2. 18-year-old Rosie Reid auctioned her body to a 44-year-old BT engineer in 2004, who paid a reported 8,000 pounds.

3. 18-year-old Graciela Yataco decided to sell her virginity in 2005 to pay for her mother's medical bills and support her younger brother and managed to auction it off for $1,300,000.

4. In 2008, 22-year-old Natalie Dylan received a bid of $3.7 million after auctioning her V-card to fund her master's degree.

5. In 2009, 18-year-old Alina Percea sold her virginity to pay for her computing degree. She received 8,800 pounds from an Italian man.

6. In 2009, 20-year-old model Raffaella Fico and star of Big Brother Italy 2008, put up her virginity for auction to buy a house in Rome and pay for acting classes. Fico promised a good time for a sum of $1.8 million.

7. A poor New Zealand student, known only by her pseudonym as "Unigirl" sold her virginity in 2010 to pay for her university fees. She accepted an offer for $32,000.
