You don't have to live small if you're not planning to spend a lot of money. In fact, there are tons of things you can do that will just cost under RM40. Here are a couple of things that will stretch your ringgit a tad further with just RM40.

1. Buy a non-descript BASIC stretch t-shirt from H&M for 39.90

2. Get a manicure

You might need this every week, so opt for the gel option, which will cost more but won't balloon above RM40. Plus, gel manicures tend to last longer!

3. Get a blowout

Don't want to wash your own hair? Look for salons that offer them, (usually all.) They could cost around RM35-RM50 depending on where you go.

4. Subscribe to a mobile plan that's only RM38.

5. Go for a comedy show

7. Give yourself a new hair color

9. Send your kid to a play gym for the day

Most play gyms will cost under RM40 for the whole day. This is value at its best. Tire your kid out there so they'll sleep like..a baby..when they're home! Plus, weekdays are even cheaper!

10. Check out the Islamic arts museum

If you live here, you've probably not been to it since "these-are-tourist-activities" right? But wait. You're missing out quite a bit. The museum has very interesting and unique artifacts and most of all it'll only cost you RM14 to enter.
