Lexus has a new sports coupe based on the soon to be released RC. Its name is the RC F and will go head to head with the likes of the BMW M4, Audi RS5 and the future Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe and Cadillac ATS V Coupe.

Lexus provided a video of the 2014 Detroit motor show bound 2015MY RC F, though there's not much information about the powertrain in particular.

The RC F coupe is "styled to support the most powerful V8 performance car ever developed by Lexus". It will be offered exclusively with an automatic transmission with paddle gear shifters.
