The Alfa Romeo 4C was appointed the safety car for the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

The 4C Safety Car is finished in red and comes with a dedicated livery, while power is provided by the stock 1.75-liter turbocharged inline four pushing out 240PS (237hp) for a 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds flat and a 258 km/h (160mph) top speed

Its track debut will be made on April 12 and 13 at the Moulay El Hassan circuit of Marrakech.
