The NSX Prototype Will Be Going Up the Hill at Goodwood
2014.03.21
This year's edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed will see Honda's upcoming NSX hybrid supercar go up the hill. It will be joined, at the bottom of the hill, by “a 1989 3.0-litre NSX, once driven by Ayrton Senna himself, and a 2005 3.2-litre, illustrating the original model’s rich history and development.”
Power will come from its mid-mounted twin turbo V6 and an all new, three motor high-performance hybrid system combining torque vectoring all-wheel drive with advanced hybrid efficiency with the use of three electric motors. It will have one motor integrated with the V6 engine in its all new dual-clutch transmission system driving the rear wheels, and two motors driving the front.
