Subaru will apply subtle updates to the BRZ, initially for Japan. The changes include two new exterior colors, the application of carbon fiber-like accents on the dash, and a shark-fin style antenna. There's also rear shock absorbers and steering system changes to improve handling and feel.

In Japan, the new model year BRZ will arrive in the market on June 27. The automaker didn't say when it will be available for the rest of the world.
