The Dubai Roadster concept that was making its rounds on Thursday has finally been revealed as an AC 5-28 Mont Ventoux design study.

The concept is the original work of French industrial designer and former employ of GM's European Design Center, Anthony Colard.

According to Colard, the name AC 5-28 Mont Ventoux stands for "Anthony Colard 500hp 2800cc and the Mont Ventoux is one of the oldest and most famous hill climb races in France".
