Chris Harris got his hands on the new BMW i8, and he took a "24 hour trip to Los Angeles" with it. Harris found himself liking the car, equipped with a 375hp hybrid powertrain comprising a rear-mounted 1.5 liter three-cylinder turbo petrol, a front mounted electric motor and a stack of batteries in the middle.
