Ever since BMW unveiled the Pinnifarina styled Grand Lusso concept early this year, imaginations, rumors and many others have prophesized the return of an 8-Series badged luxury coupe.

Autocar,says they spoke to BMW’s R&D boss and said that while the concept was well received, the company has not decided whether to put it into production or not. 

He said “we’re looking into the possibility of production, but a decision is still a way off.”
