The Subaru Viziv Concept debuted in Geneva in March this year and the WRX study was brought along to Frankfurt again. While there's nothing new in terms of production models, the WRX Concept shows the brand's vision of an extreme four door performance saloon.

For now it will only remain as a vision. Upcoming models won't be influenced by its design. The study is 178.0 inches (4,521mm) long, 74.4 inches (1,889mm) wide and 54.7 inches (1,389mm) tall, which makes it slightly shorter, lower and wider than the Impreza Mk4 sedan. It's got a larger wheelbase at 108.7 inches compared to the Impreza's 104.1 inches.

Subaru only says the concept is fitted with a new turbocharged engine and intercooler. They did not provide any other details.

Subaru showed off a second concept - the Viziv, which according to the automaker is “a future-generation crossover concept that represents the new design direction and technologies that will take the Subaru brand into the future.”
