Adaptive suspension used to only be a feature in expensive cars. Citroen was the first to use it though its hydraulic setup was aimed at providing superior comfort at the expense of the loss of road feel.

Now that adaptive suspensions are market wide, they promise to enhance both handling precision and competence as well as pothole absorption capability on demand.
