Here are some of the first video reviews of the recently-unveiled Nissan GT-R Nismo courtesy of AutoExpress and Canada’s The Garage Guy. Both videos were filmed on the Sodegaura Forest Raceway outside Tokyo.

It's clear that Nismo has built the ultimate GT-R, with 592hp (600PS) from the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine and a host of aerodynamics, suspension, chassis and braking upgrades.

Nissan hasn't released performance specs yet, but according to AutoExpress, the 0 to 60-mph time is said to be around 2.4 seconds, which makes it at least as fast as the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (2.46 seconds).

In the videos, the two journalists were only allowed four laps each in the GT-R Nismo, which isn't enough to learn the track and the car. But they were both still impressed by the Nismo edition's brutal acceleration and pace.
