AutoExpress recently reviewed the VW XL1 hybrid. The powertrain combines a 47hp two cylinder diesel, an electric motor with 27hp, a 7 speed dual clutch geabox and a 5.5kWh lithium-ion battery promises astonishing efficiency numbers.
