Who said surfing the net has to be exercise free? With a little bit of hacking, you can connect your treadmill to control the scrolling of web pages.

Brian Peiris realized this by connecting his treadmill's sensor to an Arduino, and with just a few lines of Phyton, he interpreted the spinning of the belt as mouse wheel movements.

Brian also includes a tutorial to throttle your download speeds based on how quickly you walk, as you can see in the video above.
