This Geometric Facade Is Made From Aluminum And Meant To Look Like Autumn Leaves

London based architecture firm Squire and Partners have converted an 18th century public house into a five story private residence. Instead of using plants to add some accent to its exterior, the architects used a unique facade of folded aluminum leaves to mimic nature. The result? Very pretty!
The aluminum folds look like leaves, and are all autumn hued shingles, and they were created with the help of Swiss steel and metal manufacturer Tuchschmid over two years. Each plate is screwed onto the wall exterior to produce the effect. Check out more pictures of it below:
