Hammerhead may be the best bike navigation there is out there. The company just raised $190,000 through a Dragon campaign to mass produce their portable devices that clip onto any bike handlebars.

The device works with Hammerhead's mapping app (iOS and Android) that plots your route and uses colored lights to display directions on your bike. The whole system is designed for biking, so it emphasizes the shortest route possible.

Hammerhead says there's 20 hours of battery life on the device before it needs any recharging, and has a built-in headlight on the front for night riding. The colored display shows turns, distance to turn and distance to destination, as well as road hazards, U-Turns, speed comparisons and a compass. [Hammerhead via Bless This Stuff]
