Last Thursday, Google unveiled their latest smartphone, the Nexus 5.  As a tribute, GadgetLove blog came up with this quick GIF that features the Nexus One evolving to the Nexus 5 within a blink of an eye.

As you can see, Google's main focus has been with finding the perfect spot for their home buttons. Eventually they abandoned all tactile buttons in lieu of touchscreen icons. Judging by the GIF, it looks like you can expect more cleaner and sleeker smartphone designs from Google in the near future.
