Sandwichbike sounds delicious, but its not food. The plywood bike in a box was inspired by flat-pack build it yourself furniture. Now you can buy it.

Orders will begin shipping in Europe on December 1st, and elsewhere in January 2014. The bike will cost quite a bit though: €800, or nearly $1,100.

The bike is also customizable. Designed by Basten Leijh, its skeleton is formed from two weather-coated pieces of layered plywood sandwiched together.
