These two new entrants from Sony will certainly make an impact to the wireless speaker market. The first is the higher-end SRS-X7 ($300 USD) which comes complete with 32W of power, six hours of playback, and Wi-Fi connectivity.


The SRS-X5 ($200 USD) lacks Wi-Fi but offers 20W of power, three color options and eight hours of playback. Both models will feature Bluetooth streaming with AAC and aptX support, ClearAudio+, one-touch listening, aux input, subwoofers with dual passive radiators, and USB charging.
