Now that's what we call an imposing dome. Inspired by the aerodynamics of Leonardo da Vinci’s triangular parachute, as well as Alexander Graham Bell’s tetrahedral kite, this Aero-Static Dome serves as a centerpiece for the world premiere of the Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM collection at Design Week in Milan.

Arthur Huang, the founder of sustainable design agency Miniwiz, came up with the idea to install the massive metallic-colored structure above the centuries-old Palazzo Clerici. The whole thing is anchored to the ground by Nike’s proprietary Flyknit material and nine glass capsules containing the aforementioned sneakers.
