DermoScreen is an iPhone app created by George Zouridakis. It has been in development since 2005 and the app will be able to tell if you have skin cancer.

How does it work? You take a pic of your skin, and the software will be able to tell if you might have skin cancer within seconds. It also has an 85 percent accuracy rate according to Zouridakis.

The promise of cancer-detecting gizmos has the potential to give millions of people a way to detect early signs of multiplying skin cells. Early detection is key in beating the disease.
