Gogoro has $150 million in funding already and it has unveiled its electric scooter prototype called the Smartscooter. It will come with 30 over sensors that analyze shock, temperature, riding patterns and energy use, which is then sent to a smartphone app to optimize performance.

The scooter will run on lithium-ion batteries and will notify the rider when they need to swap out batteries for more power.
