Besides having an empire on PC and console platforms, Epic Games managed to push their prized game into the mobile market—rather successfully. If you want to be as good as how you play on PC or console though, you’ll have to learn a few new skills that are exclusive to Fortnite’s mobile version. 

Quick shooting skills and being able to construct structures with a flick of the wrist is impressive, but what about when it comes to touch controls? What’s more, you’ll have to adapt to a smaller screen if you’re going to play Fortnite mobile. No 144Hz curved monitors allowed here! The great thing about Fortnite is that you can play with people from different platforms. If you’ve got a friend that doesn’t necessarily play the mobile version of Fortnite but instead plays on their PC, then you can team up with them. However, we discourage you from doing so. When squading up, it’s better to have all of the players play on their mobile devices instead of a PC or console. Because if even a single member of your squad is playing on a different platform than you, you’ll be matched with players that are either playing on their PC or console. This puts you at a disadvantage if winning is very important to you. Not only will the competition be much tougher since playing with a mouse or keyboard or a controller is much better than a touch screen, but it’s almost impossible to get a coveted victory royale. Communicating with the voice chat can only can you so far, and there’s no denying that the accuracy when using a touch screen is barely passable compared to the peripherals of other platforms.
