GigaOM reported that Google bought WIMM Labs last year for the development of an Android Smartwatch. WIMM Labs was the maker of WIMM One, a smart watch released a few years ago.

WIMM One also had its own micro app store with apps like calculator, compass and photo gallery. A year ago, WIMM Labs stopped sales of the WIMM One, deleted its Twitter account and posted this note on its website:
