Nokia launched Here Auto, a cloud enhanced in-car navigation and infotainment platform. It's also for smartphones. It is a turn by turn navigation system coupled with a cloud based info service like Waze.

It will offer seen features like speed limit and speed camera warnings and different map views and adds a layer of dynamic services which should make your trip more enjoyable.

Nokia also plans to offer a software development kit (SDK) for Here Auto, letting developers create new apps for the platform.

Here Auto is already integrated in Continental's next-gen Open Infotainment Platform, and Nokia is working with partners such as Magneti Marelli to bring the platform to the market "in the coming months."
