The new motion sensing M7 chip in the iPhone 5S opens up the doors to a whole new set of apps and potential. It serves a number of purposes, one of them is keeping track of your motion.

The M7 lets the phone handle data from the iPhone's sensors - using the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass without firing up the A7. It also means your iPhone never stops collecting data, and the M7 chip can turn your iPhone into a fitness tracker.

But really. Could this be a sign of an iWatch compatibility?

Apple itself said that the M7 "continuously measures motion data" which "enables a new generation of health and fitness apps." We won't be surprised that the company will try to dive into the fitness area with a watch. Because that kind of makes sense doesn't it?

Having said that, privacy is another story all together.
