Google Bought Bump, To Share Data From Phone-to-Phone The Cool Way
2013.09.17
Bump now belongs to Google. The app that lets you transfer data from photo to phone or phone to computer with a handy NFC free bump just got bought out.
Bump relies on both users having the Bump app, and the synchronization happens in the background. Now that it belongs to Google, it won't be long until that feature is built into Android.
In fact, Google's got a little catching up to do considering that AirDrop—a similar easy-share feature—is coming baked into iOS 7, at least for more recent handsets.
