Does Bigfoot exist? We've been asking this for a long time already. From time to time, we see the token conspiracy theorist coming out with a press release or two, only to find out that they have been doctored or that there isn't any hard evidence of the sasquatch.

To put all of that debate to an end, the Idaho State University cryptozoological team will be using an autonomous blimp outfitted with NASA quality photographic equipment to investigate, from air.

Dubbed the Falcon Project, the idea comes from ISU professor and Bigfoot hunter, Jeff Meldrum. The 50 foot blimp will employ a pair of balloons and rely on a proprietary engine design to cruise silently at 45 knots and carry HD thermal imaging telephoto cameras with a 1024 x 768 resolution for picking up heat signatures of the beast, if any.
